Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) manages imports. Electronic customs system (EPL) exists but limited by sanctions. Extremely protectionist tariffs, 4-100% range. Limited direct trade data between CO and IR. Most shipping routes go via major logistics hubs in Europe, UAE, or Singapore.
Key imports into IR: Consumer goods, machinery, electronics. Key exports from CO: Petroleum, coffee, coal, gold, bananas, flowers, chemicals, plastics, textiles. Volumetric weight often applies. Check destination country's import restrictions carefully.
